We manufacture your product using
our complete machine park

We have a modern machine park capable of processing various materials. We can realize your product using the following operations:

In the milling department, multiple DMG MORI 5-axis machining centers are connected to BMO robotic loading systems, where a wide variety of products are manufactured from aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and various other materials—common and uncommon.

Standardization of our machines, tools, and workflows allows for quick machine changes, resulting in short lead times. Complex products are externally programmed with Hypermill CAD/CAM. Close collaboration with various tool suppliers keeps IMPA Precision at the forefront of market developments related to milling strategies and achieving precise products.

In the turning department, there are multiple DMG MORI lathes, all equipped with powered tools and a Y-axis, allowing milling operations to be easily performed on the lathes. As a result, products come off the machine as complete as possible.

Thanks to the various clamping systems, products with a diameter of up to 200 mm can be manufactured without any issues.

The automation in the turning department includes three LNS bar feeders and a BMO Robot. This setup allows for semi-automated production of larger series.

Wire EDM, or electrical discharge machining, is a specialized process that requires high-quality machines. IMPA Precision has chosen the Swiss brand GF for this purpose.

The machine park offers solutions for all required precision and surface classifications.

By wire EDM machining of conductive materials, various shapes can be created, with tapered or complex shapes made possible through 4-axis EDM, and small internal radii being common.

Unlike turning and milling, wire EDM is largely a stress-free process. This makes it particularly suitable for producing delicate components and for finishing milled or turned parts.

IMPA Precision made the decision to implement semi-automated production as early as 2015. As one of the first in the Netherlands, a BMO robotic cell was connected to two DMG MORI 5-axis milling machines.

The experiences gained from this setup were then applied when acquiring the next three BMO robotic systems.

IMPA Precision uses product handling and complete pallet changes to achieve efficient production.

The lathes are equipped with LNS bar feeders. Special receiving tables ensure the undamaged handling of finished products.

Standardization has been key to running the machines for as many hours as possible with a minimal number of operators.

In various market segments, such as Semicon, Medical, and Optical, there are strict cleanliness requirements for the produced components.

IMPA Precision produces according to very high cleanliness standards. The coolant is mixed with demineralized water to make the parts easier to clean.

By cleaning the produced parts immediately after production in demineralized water or special cleaning agents, and avoiding further exposure to environmental influences, the highest possible cleanliness is achieved during production.

With our advanced measuring room and comprehensive quality management, every product meets the specified requirements. Quality management and high precision are among the most critical aspects, with the goal of ensuring quality and eliminating deviations.

Detailed measurements of complex products are performed on the Zeiss Contura CMM. This device makes a detailed scan of the product produced in our factory. The software analyzes the measurements against the specified dimensions as well as position and form tolerances to prevent any deviations and issues in the future.

The system can generate comprehensive reports for series products to eliminate any imperfections.

IMPA Precision uses interim quality controls to manage product quality throughout the entire production process. During machining, our skilled professionals regularly check if the product meets the desired dimensions to prevent delays and deviations later in the process.

The final inspection, where products are re-measured to rule out imperfections, ensures that every product leaving our factory meets the desired quality and dimensions. If necessary, each product is inspected individually to guarantee maximum quality.

Surface treatments are applied to change the properties of the material’s surface. These treatments may be done to enhance the appearance of the product, to apply a protective layer that extends its lifespan, durability, and quality, or a combination of these purposes.

IMPA Precision collaborates with reliable partners for the necessary surface treatments of a product.

Examples of surface treatments include:

Anodizing
Pickling and passivation
Chromating
Electroless nickel plating
Electroplating with nickel
Gold plating
Electrolytic polishing

Assembly is the final phase in the entire production process for many of our products. If assembly is not done correctly, the end product cannot be reliable, even if all components are qualified.

Assembly is not simply connecting qualified components; it requires a series of assembly measures to ensure that the product meets quality requirements. Common assembly tasks include cleaning, connecting, correcting and adjusting, balancing, acceptance testing, and packaging.

IMPA Precision works with the customer to define final specifications and ensures that all products meet these standards.
